We all find ourselves facing difficult situations at various times in our lives and sometimes having someone to listen can be all we need.
My name is Rebecca Honeybourne and I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor. I offer counselling to individuals who wish to explore the difficulties that they face in their lives in a safe, confidential, supportive and non-judgemental environment. I strongly believe in the development of building a trusting relationship with my clients. I believe that by offering warmth and understanding to my clients they are able to explore their difficulties without judgement. I see counselling as a mutual journey where I work alongside my clients as they work through their challenges. As an integrative counsellor; I use a variety of counselling approaches, to suit each of my clients’ needs.
I have experience of helping clients deal with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, self-harm, loss, suicidal feelings, low mood, depression and the impact of trauma. I also have experience of working with both adults and teenagers. I have worked, as a counsellor including a college of Higher Education. Alongside my experience as a counsellor I have also worked as a teacher in both schools and colleges for over 25 years.
I am a registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP) and I adhere to the BACP code of conduct.
I work either short term or open ended.
