We all have times when life seems confusing, difficult, provoking, or simply unhappy. I understand the importance of offering a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space where you can explore issues which are worrying you or having a negative impact on you. I can offer short or longer-term counselling, depending on your needs, and can support you through your journey to greater understanding and a more positive life. I don’t pretend that there are quick fixes. The counselling process can be challenging at times, but I believe in it wholeheartedly as a way to improving wellbeing and self-esteem, and as a means of supporting people to take some control of their lives.
I have more than 20 years of experience of working as a counsellor, first in a university context and later in private practice. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
