Sometimes we reach a stage in our lives when we feel that we are not functioning as well as we should be; life can be a struggle, and somewhere along the way we can feel lost or overwhelmed. Counselling can help you get back to your true self; process past or existing issues and enable you to move on with your life and fulfil your true potential. I can explore these areas safely with you in order to help you find solutions that will support your life choices.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to support clients without judgement. I can provide counselling for the majority of issues, such as bereavement, anxiety, depression, difficult relationships and low self-esterm. I hold a BA (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling and am a member or the BACp (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I am fully insured and attend regular supervision.
Although many of my clients are hearing, I provide a specialist counselling service for the Deaf, Deafened and hard of Hearing (including Usher Syndrome), using British sign Language. I am available for GP/CCG referrals and provide an outreach service throughout Birmingham and surrounding areas by arrangement. Other areas in which I have a professional interest include Post Traumatic Stress disorder, disabilities, childhood trauma, and boarding school issues.
If you would like a free, 30 minute, consultation in order to ask questions, and to see if you feel comfortable to engage with me in your therapeutic process, please contact me for details. More information can be found on my websites:
