My name is Aneet and I am a qualified Counsellor and since 2004 I have worked in the area of Psychology, Counselling and Mental Health with experience ranging from Head Injuries, Cancer, Learning Difficulties, NHS Mental Health, working with Young People and individuals from a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic background.
I currently work as a Counsellor in private practice, in the NHS and for a charity supporting those with long term illnesses.
I have experience and skills in different Counselling modalities; however I focus on Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches, but do occasionally use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I tend to work with the individual’s need and will draw on a variety of Counselling modalities to better meet the needs of the client.
I offer a non-judgemental, confidential and supportive space for you to explore some of the difficulties you may have been experiencing. Perhaps you are feeling anxious or stressed? Maybe you are struggling with your relationship? Or maybe you need to be heard and listened to?
Counselling is a journey and our work together will be an opportunity for your story to be heard. If we can be heard it can often help us to find ways to move forward from some of the difficulties we have been experiencing.
Counselling can also offer an opportunity for personal growth and development through exploring aspects of ourselves which can bring learning and a better understanding of who we are.
Here are some the areas I can work with:
